Frozen Lobster Meat
Our frozen lobster meat comes from freshly caught Maine lobsters only. While lobsters are native all along the east coast, from Canada to the Carolinas, they don't all taste the same. The general consensus is that lobster caught off the coast of Maine is better than those caught elsewhere, and we tend to agree! That's why we specialize in Maine lobsters here at Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound®.
We only buy lobsters from local fishermen who get their lobsters from the icy cold waters just off our coast. Each lobster is carefully inspected before being transported the quick few miles to our lobster pounds. Before being fresh frozen, each lobster is boiled live in seawater in the traditional way, making for great-tasting meat.
